In society, there is a group of young people who have to face housing, education, and job-seeking challenges alone as soon as they turn 18. Due to a lack of family or other support, they often feel lost and helpless, exhausted both mentally and physically. Recognizing this, we visited Evangel Children’s Home, which provides youth residential services. We had conversations with the residents to understand the challenges they face and their living conditions. We also supported the “Evangel Children’s Home Second Chance in Life Program,” continuing to assist young people aged 18-24 in transitioning to independent living. This program aims to provide stable housing during their crucial educational and career development years, allowing them to focus on their studies and professional growth.
Prior to this, to encourage them to relieve stress during leisure time, we prepared multiple pairs of running shoes at the end of last year to cheer on the foster home youth participating in marathon. This year, we will also support the “Residential Secondary School Boy Basketball Training 2025” program to provide these young people with regular basketball training and opportunities to participate in competitions, fostering teamwork and uncovering potential! We hope they can overcome difficulties, run farther, jump higher, and strive for success in the future.
