Mid-Autumn Festival is all about togetherness. To mark the occasion, we joined hands with the Chinese YMCA of Hong Kong and its social enterprise, “YM Fleur,” to organize the “Floral Lanterns of Reunion” Workshop, using handcrafted lanterns to share warm blessings while bringing a touch of care into the community.
On the eve of the festival, our volunteers colleagues paired up with over 20 elderly residents and caregivers from Chai Wan District to craft festive lanterns. Adorned with eco-friendly florals, every leaf and petal carried heartfelt holiday wishes as we shared a heartwarming and memorable afternoon. To deepen our community impact, the workshop specially featured eco-friendly floral materials and professional tutoring from the social enterprise.
