The “Future AI Researcher Project,” co-organized with the YMCA of Hong Kong, is nearing its end! Recently, we were delighted to visit the Lam Tin center, where over a dozen local children unleashed their creativity. Through interactions with ChatGPT, they transformed their imaginations into drawings and created beautiful posters. The course was full of fun and challenges, teaching the children not only about various AI generation tools but also how to express and describe their “imagined” life products. This enhanced their thinking and problem-solving skills, boosting their self-efficacy and confidence.
Throughout the six-week course, we are grateful for the support of our center partners and the guidance of the instructors. They enabled the local children to experience the wonders of AI during their free time, learn basic programming theories, and apply AI norms while exploring the limitless possibilities of technology. We look forward to more volunteer service experiences in the future, allowing Nexify to continue bringing warmth and care to the community!
